Chinese New Year, that is. It actually began yesterday, Feb. 7th, but today is the day that Mailia's class will learn about it. I sent a stack of materials to school the other day for the teacher to use as a lesson plan, along with goodie bags for all the kids filled with typical Chinese trinkets. So this morning she asked if she could wear 'my Chinese clothes'. LOL. Here is a picture of her just before heading out to school. She should come home with some fun tales to tell tonight.
