The 50th running of the Daytona 500 was also Mailia's first. She finally got to see and hear her Jimmie race. Watching on tv now, will never be the same. It was hot, it was loud and it was an extremely long day, but she loved every minute of it and so did we. Unfortunately, Jimmie didn't win. But she was ok with that for the first race of the season. Just being there was (in her words) "sweet" and "cool".

I have been to the Daytona 500 several times and I have to agree....it is both "sweet" and "cool"! I love it!
So glad you finally got to see your Jimmie race!
