We are as tired of this as all of you reading. Hurricane season runs until Nov. 30th. It can't be over soon enough.Who knows where Ike will really end up, or how powerful he will be, but like Gustav looked last week.........Ike is looking very bad.

We haven't had a full week of school yet (& actually, our kids are out Mon (at least) for Teacher planning day).

They are telling us to batten down the hatches already. I'm not ready for another hurricane. We had Isabel come through 5 years ago and it did quite a number on our neighborhood. We lost everything in our freezer/refrigerator, lost power for days, but this time we have our KIDS with us! And a dog, and 3 cats. OH LORD! I'd rather not go through this!!!
